multi-function tablets?

No! Glist dishwasher tablets have been designed to remove even hard to shift foodstuffs and grease,
leaving the dishes sparkling clean first wash, every wash.

Q. What is glass corrosion?
A.
Glass corrosion is the term given to the chemically induced damage caused by frequent washing.
With each wash, components of glass are extracted from the glass surface. As a consequence the glass
surface becomes porous and looks 'cloudy' and dull to the eye.

Q. Do all glasses washed in a dishwasher suffer from glass corrosion?
A.
No - it depends on the glass type and specific washing conditions (ie. water hardness, temperature,
decoration, etc).

Q. Can Glist repair glasses suffering from corrosion?
A.
No! Nothing can repair damaged glasses. Glist however can significantly delay the onset of visible
glass corrosion, keeping glasses looking like new for longer.

Q. Do the Glist Magic Vinegar™ Tablets fit into all dosing compartments?
A.
Glist Magic Vinegar™ Tablets are designed to fit into nearly all dishwasher models. The tablets though
work equally well when they are placed into the cutlery basket. If you do this though, do
not
choose a
program with a pre-rinse cycle. The pre-rinse cycle will partly dissolve the tab and then less than
the perfect amount of detergent, rinse aid and water softener will be left for the main cycle.

Q. What do I have to do if the red light(s) show(s) up that indicates that salt or rinse aid
have to be refilled?
A.
With Glist, you don't have to do anything. Glist tablets contain exactly the right amount of
rinse aid and salt action for one wash cycle. Your dishwasher simply doesn't know this - that's why
the lights come on. There is no need for you to refill the rinse aid and salt dispensers. However,
if you live in an area particularly prone to very hard water (>35°F), your dishwasher will require
additional salt to soften the water. In this case, it is recommended that you keep your machine
topped up with dishwasher salt.

Q. Should I still use rinse aid with Glist Magic Vinegar™ Tablets?
A.
You do not have to use rinse aid any more because Glist contains rinse aid already.
However if you feel more comfortable using additional rinse aid, this is not a problem.

A.
With Glist, you do not have to use separate salt in your dishwasher. However, if you live in an area
particularly prone to very hard water (>35°F), we recommend you regularly top up your dishwasher
with salt. For the water hardness in your area, please contact your local water supplier.

A.
Yes! Glist dishwasher tablets are designed to dissolve even at low temperatures.
For best results though, use a program with at least a one hour cycle.

Q. What is hard water?
A.
Rainwater is naturally soft but as it seeps through the ground it picks up certain minerals.
If it passes through soft rocks such as chalk or limestone it will pick up calcium and magnesium
compounds making it hard. If it passes through hard rocks like granite and through peaty soils
it will remain soft.

Q. So what is the problem with hard water?
A.
Once this hard water has been heated, the minerals start to deposit in the pipes of your dishwasher
and cause the build up of limescale.

Q. What does salt do in this context?
A.
Special dishwasher salt is designed to soften your water and thus helps to reduce the build up
of limescale in your machine.

Q. How can I find out, whether I live in a hard water area?
A.
It is best to contact your water supplier, who will be able to establish the amount of calcium carbonate
by your postcode and determine the level of water hardness in your area.

Glist is designed to work in all water hardness areas. However, if you live in an area
particularly prone to very hard water (>35°F), we recommend you contuinue to keep your
dishwasher salt topped up.

Q. Why does Glist not work properly if the water is particularly hard?
A.
The capacity of the salt action in the tablet is limited and can only dissolve a certain amount of
limescale-causing minerals in the water. If the water is extreamily hard, residues may be left
on the plates and in the dishwasher.

Q. I live in an area prone to very hard water. Can I use Glist if I have a water softener
installed in my house to soften my total water supply?

Yes, as the water is softened by your water softner already. Glist tablets will work perfectly.
